Received this morning from Duncan Greenhalgh,  a Past President of the Association:

Original GP wooden boom if anyone is interested advertised on a Facebook page.

I’m clearing my late father’s house, garage and shed at the moment and have found an original boom from a GP14, 161, dad’s first (battleship heavy) GP.   Its wood obviously and has original bronze or brass fittings and is in pretty good nick.   I don’t really want to put it through my wood burner and would much rather see it sailing again.   Dad would have stored this inside since about 1973 so its a good one!   It’s free if you can use it and you’d need to collect from Bildeston in Suffolk or Brightlingsea.

The link to Mark Smith may or may not work;   but if anyone is interested,  if you reply personally to myself  –  cruising@gp14.org  –  I can put you in contact with Duncan,  who I presume can then in turn put you in touch with Mark Smith.
