Whilst thinking about repainting my wooden GP – 13509, I wondered how much sanding I should do? and how smooth is smooth enough?

One of the oldest posts on the site got me thinking, and slightly depressed, until I came back to reality and remembered I am an “average” club sailor and not Americas cup!
