Chichester Summer Cruise 2026 will be hosted by Chichester Yacht Club (
https://www.cyc.co.uk/club/welcome ) in the beautiful natural harbour of Chichester. This is tidal water and access on and off the water is governed by the tides during the week. We will arrive on Saturday 11th July and set up our boats and get settled in. Sunday 12th July will be our first sailing day and below are the expected launch and recovery times.

Sat 18th July – Pack down day – Sailing is possible but it will be a 14:00 start. TBC. There is a 2000 open event on this day so the club may be very busy.
They are our recommended launch and recovery times but of course depend on the weather. There is also the opportunity to extend these on-the-water times by utilising the ramp at the end of the pontoon.
We will have a support boat, use of their facilities and restaurant and we will have our annual dinner at the club’s restaurant also.
The cost PER BOAT for the week is £150 payable to the GP14 association before arriving at the venue on the 11th July.
If the weather is unkind then there are plenty of things to see and do in the surrounding area.
Chichester Cathedral, Tangmere military aviation museum, the Weald & Downland Living Museum (which is also the site of the T.V show the ‘Repair Shop’), Goodwood and West & East Wittering beaches.
