    Hi Steve, Have i missed the boat on this ? or perhaps my poor email etiquette has made it impossible to penetrate my earlier mails (which were a bit of a mess) ! In any case, still very interested if the blade offer is still open.

    That’s s very generous offer Steve, would you be prepared to post it at my expense to Bristol ? I must give you something for it. Please name a favoured bottle or something !

    Hi Oliver, sorry for the tardiness I’ve been travelling – yes you are right it makes more sense for me to follow the permanent options than your very kind offer of a loan.

Does anyone have a spare rudder they can sell me ? The original that snapped was only a cm width of marine ply with spacers to fill the difference between 1.7  – seems rather slim now on reflection. Perhaps that’s normal for older boats –  ? Anyway, out of action now – can you help !?</p>
