I mostly single hand 5942, and the rigging is now up to snuff except for the sails. In talking to Jon at Edge Sails, he can make me a set up with two reefs and my choice of either a working jib or a Genny on my rollerfurling set up. The Genoa is £40 more than the working. I know with the furler, I can roll it in or out as needed, but my jeep never had a genny, it came with 3 sets of working jibs and 2 mains.

I am not a racer, but a cruiser, I am leaning towards staying with the smaller working jib, but for £40 more, the Genoa sounds tempting. I know they can be beast in heavy air or if caught out by an unexpected gust, but I am posting this for opinions.

      thanks!
