Email received today from Barrie Eggleton:

“For many years I sailed my marine plywood GP14 around Torbay from 1965 onwards.

“As with age it eventually, as we all do, rotted away.

“I stripped off the fittings, kept the sails, rudder, boom, seat slats etc. as a reminders of very happy days afloat.

“It would be great if any of your members could make use of any of my old fittings on one of their rebuilds or existing GP14s ?”

I will put any prompt responders in touch with Barrie,  but I set off on holiday this Saturday,  so you may need to move fast  …

      Hi Oliver

I spent the winter “restoring” a 1958 GP 14 and would be interested in getting in touch with Barrie.

      Best wishes

      Chris

Please email me at cruising@gp14.org,  and I will then be happy to put you in touch.

But in fairness to Barrie I don’t want to put his email address on the forum.

      Regards,

      Oliver
