Beautiful Duffin-built GP14 – £5,700
Location – Bassenthwaite Sailing Club, Cumbria.
Beautiful Duffin-built GP14, sail number 14088, built in 2010 for the GP14 Class Association to display at the Dinghy Show.
The boat was subsequently bought by Duncan Fraser, who campaigned it at World Championships and had it maintained by Paintcraft. I bought the boat in 2019 and since then it has been used for club racing at Bassenthwaite Sailing Club.
The boat has a Paintcraft interior and deck finish and has recently had the hull repainted using International paint, as I found the Paintcraft exterior finish rather more demanding to maintain. It presents very well and is a genuinely competitive boat.
Sails
• 2 mainsails – one virtually new Impact Marine sail and one older but fully functional HD sail
• 2 genoas – both HD and in reasonable condition
• 3 spinnakers – one North Sails spinnaker in very good condition, plus two older but functional HD spinnakers
