Wednesday 7th August
Three races today, overall Sam and Andy are still holding first place, while Jim and Liz are in second place overall both proving consistent sailing is key in a series like this.
The conditions today suited Mike Senior with Chris White, who had a tremendous day taking a 2nd and two race wins today. “Raceys Rocket” is obviously still a very fast boat – when sailed by experts, that is!
Now only one point behind Jim and Liz and it’s all to play for as we head into the last two days!
Tuesday 6th August
Racing abandoned due to high winds.
Monday 5th August
A very happy duo today, the pathfinders (10th place yesterday) Sam Watson and Andy Thompson took 2 bullets to shoot up the leaderboard and into top position!
We hear there were stronger winds of up to 20 knots and a fleet recall, the shifts today favoured the Sam Andy – well done lads!

Sunday 4th August
The first day of the event comprised a practice race with Race 1 following back to back.
With 56 boats competing in Race 1, congratulations must go to GP14 newcomers Russell and Ali Cormack (Budworth S.C) in GP14 14240 (recognise the sail number?!!) who obviously got into the groove straight away to take first place in Race 1. A fantastic start to their campaign that will give all the usual top sailors something to think about!
I suspect they will attract much more “attention” in today’s racing!
